It’s been an exciting and reflective few weeks, school started, and I’m thrilled to share what I’ve been working on and learning. While I may not have a major milestone to announce today, my journey is filled with small, meaningful steps that are shaping the bigger picture. Here’s what I’ve been up to:

Exploring Web Design
Creating my website has been such a rewarding experience. It’s sparked a passion for web design and shown me the joy of building something uniquely my own. Over the past month, my website has welcomed more than 120 visitors—a milestone for which I’m incredibly grateful. I’m so thankful for the encouragement from my friends, family, and academic advisor, who have been among my earliest and most supportive visitors.
Currently, I’m learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to rebuild this site from scratch. Without the limitations of a host platform, I’ll have the freedom to bring my full vision to life with exciting features and personal touches.
Admittedly, I haven’t been working on the site as much as I’d like lately. Life has a way of getting busy, but I’m learning to give myself grace and approach each step with curiosity and patience. Progress might be slow at times, but I’m confident it will all come together beautifully.
Stay tuned—it’s just the beginning of something amazing!

Let's Make it Pink!
Reimagining My Text-Based Game
Around this time last year, I created a text-based game for my scripting class. It was my introduction to programming. While I kept the design simple to meet deadlines and fit the rubric, I had so much fun making it. I was full of ideas, but with limited time and experience, I did the best I could—and earned an A! Yet, even then, I knew the game could be so much better.
Now, I’m revisiting that project with fresh eyes and a year’s worth of learning under my belt. My goal is to add more depth, introduce new elements, and craft a storyline that truly challenges and immerses players. As I document the process, I’m realizing how much coding and creativity go hand in hand. Reflecting on my progress, I see how far I’ve come in just one year—and I’m reminded that we’re not inherently bad at something; we’re often just beginners finding our way. Revisiting this game is a testament to my growth and the power of giving myself the chance to improve.

#The Beginning of My Coding Journey
Shining Light on New Interests
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been exploring new avenues of learning and creativity. I’ve started diving into electrical engineering with my ELEGOO UNO kit, a hands-on introduction to circuits and hardware. One of my first projects involved turning on an LED light and experimenting with different resistors to observe how the brightness changed. This simple yet fascinating exercise illuminated (pun intended!) a whole new world of interests I didn’t know I had.
This journey has been more than just learning how circuits work. It’s taught me about patience, curiosity, and the thrill of creating something tangible. Who knew a glowing light could spark so much joy?
I’ve also been using Khan Academy to learn about electrical engineering fundamentals like current, voltage, and resistors. Following the tutorials step by step with my ELEGOO kit has made this new adventure approachable and exciting.

It's On!
Thank you for following along with me. This past month has shown me that pursuing what sparks joy can truly power a bright future. This journey is just beginning, and I’m so grateful to have a space to share it. Here’s to curiosity, growth, and building something extraordinary, one step at a time.
